Well suited for wide feet
I donât have a comparison for zero drop shoes, but I do love these. I have had them for about 6 months. They look good, are wide enough for my toes to splay naturally, and very comfortable. I bought them to wear at Universal Studios and now I wear these for work (office work in a machine shop) and they have held up well. They have scuffed a bit, but for $40 and as comfortable as they are, Iâm buying another pair. I feel itâs well worth the $. The cushion is not thick, but isnât that the point with these types of shoes? I have several pairs of whitin shoes and there is only one pair that I donât love and thatâs really just a preference issue.

wide & trendy
I have wide, flat feet and these shoes are AMAZING. I almost didn’t try them on because they looked too narrow when I first opened the package, but I’m so glad I did!As others have said in their reviews, I’ve been searching high and low for a normal-looking, wide toe box + zero drop, lightly cushioned casual sneaker that costs less than $100. I wanted something both just as comfortable and a little less technical-looking than other cushioned-barefoot options. I think these might be the only shoes out there right now that fit the bill, so I’m glad they’re as comfortable as they are!The toe box is wide enough (about as wide as my Altras, perhaps wider) for the toes to splay comfortably, and the body of the whole shoe is about the same width. This is perfect for my foot shape, which doesn’t really narrow in at the arch/midfoot and heel.Plus, the appearance of the sneaker is normal–I asked a coworker to confirm, even, and she said she wouldn’t have been able to tell that they were a “barefoot”-adjacent style.Do know that the sole, while thick enough to walk comfortably on pavement, is relatively firm–so it won’t give you the feel of a cushioned Altra shoe, for example. I also swapped out the laces on mine because they were a little shiny for my tastes, but that’s just personal preference.I’ve put some miles on these already, and planning to take them to New York at the end of the month. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!(And Whitin, please make more trendy/normal looking styles with zero drop & wide toes!! I would buy!!!)

These shoes are so very comfortable and not too bulky! I don’t feel so embarrassed walking from my car to the shuttle in these because they are cute!! I’m going to order more colors now! I wear an 11 and these feel GREAT! I really love how wide the toe area is but it doesn’t look odd. I have a bunion so these are great for that. I have on a pair of sweat sock footies and the shoe is still roomy. Love these!

These shoes are fantastic. They have enough of a cushion/base so I donât feel as tired as I do wearing regular barefoot shoes. The toebox is still wide enough for my feet. And the style is great! Would absolutely recommend.

Not a barefoot shoe
I have been wearing barefoot shoes almost exclusively for 5 years, and in that time developed a nagging Achilles problem. I love barefoot shoes and let me tell you these ain’t barefoot shoes. The sole is thick and very stiff (- 1 star), but I hope it will offer sufficient heel cushioning to maintain the remission in my tendonitis. There is no arch support, nor any other cushioning in the insole. However, they are zero-drop, and have a (very) wide toe box, which makes them very comfortable to wear. A 5-mile trail hike right out of the box was no problem – no rubbing or pinching. After years of barefoot running, they do feel very clunky on my feet, and trail running is a bit of a challenge still. I normally wear a 10 shoe, and the 10 was waayy too big. I replaced it with a 9.5, and that fits me quite well.Â

So far worth it
So far I am pleased with my purchase. The shoes look sturdy and well made. Very spacious for my daughterâs feet who has experienced bunions on both feet due to ballet. I did not want to spend money on expensive barefoot shoes since her feet are still growing. They look very nice and trendy still with the wide toe box. Will update later to see how they hold up on a teen.

initial thoughts right out of the bag, haven’t worn them around yet.
Ordered 8.5 wide, which is my usual size. The fit is accurate. No need to size up or down. These are cute, toe box is roomy. Been wearing barefoot style shoes for 4.5 years and consistently deal with tendinitis in my feet and achilles, so I was looking for a zero drop shoe that had more support and cushion than barefoot styles, like Altra shoes do. I thought maybe being a thicker sole, they would have some cushion, but no. The sole is stiff, they do not flex well. They also do not feel like they are zero drop. The heel feels slightly higher. These are not advertised as a “barefoot” shoe, so I wasn’t expecting them to be, but being zero drop, I thought they would still offer some flexibility. They feel like if a Walmart brand made a zero drop shoe with a wide toe box. Just stiff and unsupportive and lacking cushion. I think I’ll take the insole out and put in a more comfortable one. They are super cute, though. A lot of these shoes that are “foot shaped” look like clown shoes. These ones are the perfect shape for my feet. If they are comfortable to walk in with an improved insole and hold up well, I would still order them again. I’ll update my review if I have more info to add once I’ve broken them in a bit.

Great shoe
Love these shoes. They are not made for heavy workouts, but are comfortable for moderate workouts. I love the roomy toe box, the stability the zero drop provides, and the comfort it provides. I have bought several colors.

The wide toe is great if you have bunions or need more toe space. Would be able to wear toe spacers in these as well. They are super comfortable and I was able to take out the sole and replace with my orthotics. The wide toe doesnât look very unusual. Iâve been wearing these shoes for a few months now and although they got dirty they are still in good shape.

These are AMAZING. My only comment is that the shoelaces are maybe too smooth and they untie really easy but thatâs it! You cannot even tell these are barefoot as they dont look too big or funny. So comfortable! I may get them in pink too. My size was accurate as my other barefoot.

I love these shoes. It is so hard to find wide shoes that donât look like clown shoes. These definitely do not look wide. They look stylish. They are very comfortable. I wear a size 10 and that is what I purchased. True to size. If you are undecided, just do it. You are going to love these runners.
