Great nootropic and stamina builder
First, I’ve taken different types of ALCAR in the past and I’ve seen mixed QC from lot to lot. Some lots other companies had gave off a “fishy” smell. I’ve taken other Double Wood Supplements in the past and figured I’d give this one a try. Again, Double Wood proves it’s quality control is superior to others.ALCAR is unique and different than L-Carnitine because the acetylation allows it to pass the blood-brain barrier and provide energy / focused results for the brain. Not many supplements have the ability to do this. Once the acetyl is cleaved off, it becomes L-Carnitine, which then provides all the stamina benefits and weight control benefits one would see if just taking LCAR by itself.Highly recommend Double Wood’s version of ALCAR due to it’s QC alone, but also due to its ability to improve focus, stamina, and higher level thinking.

Good Daily Supplement
For the past four months I’ve been taking a 1 gram dose four to five days per week. I’ve found that it gives me noticeably more energy but more importantly seems to speed up some mental processes. It’s hard to describe but as an example, when I’m speaking the words seem to just flow better. I haven’t noticed much impact on memory but my processing does appear to have sped up. This is not the Fountain of Youth, but for me it provides a subtle boost that helps me to be more productive throughout the work day.

My experience with ALCAR was very good overall. I started with 500-1000mg when I tried it out and moved up to the max throughout the day. It was very effective at clearing up the brain and providing energy for the first 3 weeks or so and then I stopped noticing the motivation improvement, but it still helped some in that area and with brain fog. Brain fog has been a huge problem for me for years, so any relief is appreciated. Even toward the end, it continued to help with coming down off of Adderall (what caught my attention to try it initially during my hours of research). If you drink a lot of coffee, energy drinks, consume a lot of stimulant substances/supplements/meds, this would probably help you during, but especially after. As I write this, I haven’t taken it in a couple weeks and I can really notice a big difference in how well it helped me as the hodgepodge of daily stimulants wore off, even though the UP feeling faded a little as I took it every day throughout the month. If you are using a lot of stimulants, I would highly recommend this! Also, please note the warning about watching the amount you take (or avoiding it outright) if you have hypothyroidism. I think I’ll just cut back a little on the quantity, as mine is not severe. Thank you guys for putting out QUALITY at good prices!FYI, L-carnitine bonded to the acetyl group is the only way to go. The plain l-carnitine in energy drinks is basically worthless and NALCAR is probably just another marketing gimmick. Beware of the term higher bioavailability in the world of supplements, this doesn’t equate to effectiveness regarding what area of the body (especially the brain) you want it to go to. It’s often a money-making scheme, as it equates to much higher prices for certain supplements. ALCAR is effective and this is a good one.

Really helps with your memory!
I used to use L-Carnitine when I lived in Australia as a supplement for my weight training. It gave me more energy, and seemed to keep weight off too. I decided to try it once more as I started training again this year, and not only did it seem to give me more energy for the gym, but I find that when I take it, it keeps my memory sharp when Iâm at work.I run a coffee shop, and I have an array of different coffee drinks; it can get so confusing remembering everyoneâs order. When I take Acetyl L-Carnitine though, it gives me confidence as it keeps my mind clear. I donât have to keep asking customers what their order is again.
