Perfect For My Routine
I am retired military, so exercise has always been a part of my daily routine. Since the pandemic I have had to adjust, which is hard because the gym has the equipment I have become accustomed to. I didnât realize how different it was working out there as when I started to work out at home on my hard wood floors (no carpet anywhere). I thought it would be easy but the military exercise mat is entirely too thin and was making my tailbone hurt tremendously, so I had to give up my sit-ups and some other ab exercises. This kind of threw a wrench into my routine and I could start feeling my motivation go away. I decided to take a look on Amazon for a thicker mat. I should have done this long ago because I found this one Iâm writing about. Itâs the shape of any typical exercise Matt except itâs 1â thick. It appears to be made of a type of foam (not bothering to look at the description right now). When I pulled it out I thought I was going to sink in making sit-ups even harder but itâs firm but not hard. I like it better than what is at the gym. Durability will be hard to determine until Iâve had it a while but Iâm definitely excited to start back up on my exercises.I recommend this mat if you have hard wood floors, bad back, bad knees, etc.I thought I read some negative reviews about mats this thick because of yoga and balance but I beg to differ. If balancing is part of your exercise routine, then a mat which makes balance harder is exactly what you want. Exercise is supposed to be challenging and you need to work harder to see a difference. If that isnât your goal or if balance is a medical issue, this may not be the right mat for you. Something you may not think about is I have chronic foot pain and this mat makes it less painful for me to stand or jump. For me, this mat is perfect.

Great Mat!
High quality. Good mat. Nice large size. Easy to roll up and attach velcro to carry. Thick enough that I sometimes have trouble balancing on it, but that might just be me. Comfortable and well made.

Thick, cushioning exercise comfort.
I have mild scoliosis that causes severe hip/tailbone pain when I do floor exercises. This mat has made floor exercises an enjoyable, pain-free experience.

Nice, thick & comfy but came w/ punctures in foam; seller provided discount
I love the mat. It’s thick and very comfortable on my knees. However, when I opened it for the first time at my yoga class, there were several cuts or punctures in the foam. I attempted to return it and the seller offered me a 10% refund due to the damage. I am concerned that the mat may deteriorate due to the damage it came with, but I need it and have no idea if the cuts will matter over time. So I accepted the $3 refund and am keeping the mat.

I would purchase again!
Itâs the perfect depth to provide cushion, but not too much that would compromise support. Itâs plenty long enough and rolls up easily. The strap is easy to use.

Thick pad rolls thick
The first one shipped arrived with the box mangled and a chunk taken out of the pad. A replacement was sent without any trouble and it works as expected. Comfy and non-slip! Since it is so thick, when rolled, it takes up significantly more space than a thinner pad. That’s to be expected.

Thick, supportive cushion mat
Love it. I bought it to do yoga stretches during pregnancy. My house is tile and bought regular yoga mats / gym mats and they werenât providing support when I laid on the floor. Still use it daily post partum. I highly recommend

As advertised, thick, doesnât slip on hardwood, and doesnât smell.
The matâs size was as advertised, and the transport straps are very simple to use. I have zero problem rolling up the mat and putting the strap on myself. There were reviews about a powerful smell coming from the mat, which made me nervous, but I ended up ordering one anyways. The actual smell wasnât powerful at all and itâs basically what you would expect from a product like this. So yeah, I was either lucky or most of the mats donât have that problem.Again, some reviews were saying it slips on the ground at times. I havenât noticed any slippage. Itâs one inch thick so the mat itself is pretty heavy and the material sticks pretty well to my hardwood floor. The foam material the mat is made of is very soft and easy on your body when youâre stretching and doing your work-out. Itâs actually soft enough where I can imagine it can be somewhat easy to accidentally cut it or tear it on a sharp edge if youâre not careful, especially on the bottom of the mat. If you tend to roll up the mat to transport it, you will have to roll it in the opposite direction once you unroll it to stop the mat from curling. Maybe that will get easier to do as the mat gets older. Pretty minor stuff though considering the material is what you wanted when you bought this mat. And even if the edge of the mat curls, I donât see how it affects you during your ground exercises, except for aesthetic purposes when youâre not standing on it.The mat is of course bigger than most mats during transport because yeah, one inch foam mat. Your body will thank you when youâre doing planks though.I was very happy with the quality of this purchase!

The mat is nice and thick, might be a little bit wobbly

Leggero, confortevole e lo spessore non indifferente pari ad un pollice 2,5cm ammortizza bene eventuali asperità o attenua molto la sensazione sgradevole di essere stesi nel terreno. Soddisfatto.

I have been very pleased with this exercise mat. It is large enough for me to do my exercises and the thickness is perfect for protecting knees and hips when placed on a hard surface. It is very comfortable and supportive without being too soft. It rolls up nicely and the straps are useful to keep the shape and store.
