Our Mission
Our mission at FIGS is to celebrate and empower the healthcare community with deserved innovative, functional products.
How did we get our start?
The ah-ha moment happened when Co-CEO and Co-Founder Heather Hasson was grabbing coffee with a nurse practitioner almost a decade ago. She couldn’t believe that her friend spent grueling 16-hour days serving others while wearing boxy, scratchy, and uncomfortable scrubs.
With a background in fashion, she set her sights on revolutionizing the industry by creating technically advanced apparel for the modern healthcare professional.
She partnered with Co-CEO and Co-Founder Trina Spear to not merely improve scrubs, but to completely transform the healthcare experience.

Technical Comfort
The best combination of materials, with maximum durability to withstand all the demands without sacrificing comfort.
What makes our products unique?
We create technically advanced apparel and products that feature an unmatched combination of comfort, durability, function, and style. In doing so, we have redefined what scrubs are.
What problem are we solving?
What you wear affects how you feel and, ultimately, how you perform. Every design at FIGS solves real problems that you face every day — no matter what your day throws at you. If FIGS can elevate your performance — even in small or unexpected ways — imagine the profound impact it can have.

Threads for Threads Initiative
When we started FIGS, we created our Threads for Threads initiative to donate scrubs to healthcare professionals who work in resource-poor countries and lack the proper uniforms to do their jobs safely. By providing clean scrubs to these individuals, we aim to empower them and improve the quality of care they provide.

10/10
I donât get the bad reviews these pants are amazing. I love that you can tie these and they sit below my belly making it so much more comfortable then having a stretchy waste band that leaves you with a floppy looking crotch due to extra material. These are going to save my life the rest of this pregnancy and have so much room to grow for the rest of my time. The price sucks but a small price to pay for all day comfort when pregnancy itself can be so uncomfortable. I will note I know figs runs small so I ordered a large and Iâm usually in all other scrubs a medium.

I recommend
I got a real pregnant belly this third pregnancyWhereas with my last I was able to size up in traditional scrubs. I was going to wing it and wear sweats to work but I started to feel I looked like a slob. Buying these was the best decision ever and I’m still working on them at 37 weeks pregnant. I’m wearing a Large tall and 5’6″ and have been wearing them from 155 lbs 2nd trimester to now around 174 lbs. I’m just starting to see how the waist band below the belly band part can be a little tight when bending over or in certain positions which I was concerned about based on another review I had read but it has not been an issue. The belly band also covers the belly button so it’s more professional without the belly button sticking out so much at work. I bought one pair and washed them every night and drive and then have not had any issues with them shrinking in the dryer

Tight at the hips and tall not long enough.
I wore a 4 tall before pregnancy so bought a small tall based on the size chart. There is no stretch at the top of the pants where it meets the stretchy belly part so it it very uncomfortable at the hips. Also, the pants aren’t really long enough and when I sit down they’re way up my ankles. I hate em but at least it’s temporary. Maybe try sizing up or buying two pair if you want to give these a chance.

Waistband too tight
The material is your typical comfortable Figs material but the waistband really let me down. It did not expand well with my growing belly and the band itself sits super low on me, causing it to cut into my abdomen. I wanted to love these but they only made it to my second trimester. Hopefully they’ll fit decently post partum so that I can still get some use out of them

Returned
As much as I love the feel and weight of Figs Scrub material, I had to return these pants. I bought these in an XL so I would have room to grow (Iâm 30 weeks) however the waistband is not as forgiving as the belly portion. my baby sits low, & the pants waistband dug into me which I couldnât handle for a 12+ hour shift. Additionally Iâm 5â2â and these pants were extremely short as if they shouldâve been labeled petite. I had to constantly pull them down so they wouldnât ride up by my ankles. I was nervous to wash or dry them fearing they would shrink. I own other Figs Scrub pants which I love so Iâm a little disappointed bc itâs hard to find comfortable maternity clothes. I would try them again if they fixed the waistband and made the pants longer.

Go to pregnancy scrubs
I only wore figs through both of my pregnancies and they were comfortable until the end. The elastic held up for both kids and they remained in such great condition I passed them on to my pregnant coworker. Highly recommend.

I like them!
Theyâre good! I was so scared because of all the bad reviews. But I actually really like them so far. I just tried them on, so maybe Iâll change my mind. But the fit was good. I did order a size up since I heard figs run small. Iâm usually a medium, but now that Iâm pregnant, Iâd rather they be a bit too big, so I ordered a large-short. They feel stretchy, I have room to squat. I work EMS but couldnât find maternity pants, so I tried these! I need to be able to move around well when working. They do feel comfy! Iâm not sure how good they look on me, since Iâm so big anyway. But the material feels soft and has a nice stretch. Theyâre not SUPER stretchy but they are enough for me to move!
