worked for a few minutes. we are a marine service center. never ran long enough to test run
is there no warranty on this could not find a way to get a refund on defective part total crap

2nd pump
This is the 2nd pump I have purchased. 1st pump was installed a year ago. That pump became stuck last week. Was able to revers the motor and get it working again. Went ahead and ordered a new one. The new pump came pretty oily in the box and is signification louder when operating. I guess Iâll see how long this one lasts. Right now there isnât many options for replacing this pump. Yamaha doesnât make it anymore and their retro kit is over $800. If I get another year out of this new one, Iâll be happy. Iâll update this if anything goes wrong. Pump arrived in 3 days.

Jump product
I installed both pumps, high pressure and low pressure, same day, same brand, it only lasted for 3 times in the water. Do not buy this brand, worst part ever.

Great replacement pump!!!
Use if yamy 4stroke will fully power up full throtle under load, then bog down after 10 seconds. Means this pump unable to keep vst tank full. Bad fuel pump does not fail completely like car (which wont start). Fails by loosing some âmax pump outputâ efficiency.

Higher amperage pump than stock
Be careful have to up the fuse for this pump to 15 amps (from the 5 amp fuse for the stock one), none of this info was on there website or came with pump at time of install, (their web site had this info now) also had 2 failures, pumps were tripping the 15 amp fuse after a couple of uses, (they warranted both), hope this gets rectified, pumps from yamaha are always on back order and seems this company is only alternative for aftermarket,
