Gym Backpack for Women Men, Lightweight Gym Bag with Shoe Compartment, Waterproof Workout Backpack with Wet Pocket

PERFECT FOR THE GYM AND PLANE TRAVEL!!!! MUST BUY!!!!
Honestly one of FAVORITE purchases, and I buy a lot on Amazon. I’ll first explain my experience with another brand gym bag and then explain why I love this gym backpack:I searched hard for a new gym bag and bought a BAGSMART gym bag that is great and can be used as a shoulder carry or as a back pack but my ONLY gripe with it was that the shoe compartment takes up space in the main compartment, but ALSO that the shoe compartment, whether you had shoes in it or not, would sometimes trap smaller items under the “bag-like” compartment that sits within the main compartment, if that makes sense. Like sometimes I would have a very hard and annoying time trying to find bands or straps cause they would get stuck under that shoe compartment flap since it’s just loosely within the main compartment. Small but annoying inconvenience. Also another small issue was that I don’t like shoulder straps cause they fall off or it’s just uncomfortable but this is a smaller issue than the original issue I mentioned. I still love my BAGSMART gym bag but I will only use it as a carry on or for camping going forward. They also have a bunch of other great bags for other travel things too.Now on to this gym backpack. I searched for hours for a good gym backpack that had everything I wanted. I knew what I wanted from it in regard to size, quality, compartments, etc. After reviewing many various gym backpacks, even high quality ones like WOLFpac, I decided on this one and am very pleased to have found it. It has various pockets, 3 of them being front pockets: a large main compartment pocket (obviously), a medium pocket for wet items like face wash after you workout and anything else with liquid (I use it for face wash, hand sanitizer, and liquid chalk for grip), and a small pocket that people would normally use for keys, hair ties, chapstick or whatever. But that’s not all! It also has a small secret back/side pocket that I love so much! I use that small side pocket for passports and/or wallet. When we flew to Vegas, I used this backpack and stored our passports in that small side pocket. That side pocket is actually one of my favorite features of this bag cause it’s just so convenient. Even when my hands are full and I dont want to take my backpack off my shoulder, I can still access that small pocket for my wallet that has an extra house key on it so that I don’t have go searching for my car keys in the other three front pockets. Small but CONVENIENT feature. You never knew you needed a small feature until it proves to be so useful so often. Then inside the main compartment, there is a laptop/ipad slot which I use with my old iPad to take to the gym for when I’m doing cardio and want to watch YouTube or anime. The main compartment also has three other small pockets, two mesh ones and one slightly larger one behind the two mesh ones. I use those for sunglass cases, bandaids, floss, lotion, chargers, AirPods, etc. And the backpack has two water bottle holders. My only problem with this backpack is probably the two bottle holders. They’re not great but they do work. You just need to use shorter bottles as a longer one might fall out. The bottle holders are not elastic material so they don’t hold onto the bottles very well but with my 16 OZ bottle it works perfectly and the bottle does not fall out. With my 24 OZ bottle it doesn’t work well at all. So I use one pocket for my 16 oz bottle and the other for my phone and some for keys, but usually my phone. Now for the BEST feature (imo) of this bag: the shoe compartment!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! It’s the main reason I got this bag. The shoe compartment is COMPLETELY separated from the main compartment. And even cooler is that you can extend the shoe compartment or collapse it if not in use!! It zips up so that it’s not just hanging there empty. I extend it for my cardio days and put my shoes in there. I use keep bands in there too sometimes. When I’m not using it, I’ll collapse it and zip it up. When shoes are in it, it’s not overly big and does not look goofy either. It’s perfect. When traveling to Vegas, I used this shoe compartment for my makeup bag, sandals and a few other things. So convenient. There are various bag with this type of expandable compartment but I liked this one for the reviews. Others had quality issues that people complained about. So I chose this one and I’m happy I did. I love this bag. I’m getting another one in a cute color for travel and keeping my current one for strictly only the gym.Now regarding size, it is smaller than the average backpack but BARELY smaller. It’s not designed to be big. It’s designed to be compact but useful and convenient. It’s also not small by any means. When I say “it’s not big” I mean that you can’t really fit like a lifting belt in it or like a decent sized personal foam roller in it. But for straps, angle straps, clothes, shakers, supplements, sleeves, bands, ropes, all of this will fit perfectly together, and again, you have that expanded storage on the bottom for shoes or other items! When we went to Vegas, I took my gym equipment (bands and straps) plus put clothes in it, travel sport hats (2 of them), my Nintendo switch, chargers, iPad, all the chargers and extension cords, and other stuff, plus souvenirs (on the way back home). It all fit and worked perfectly! I’ve flown a few times and have used duffle bags and carry on suitcases, and this time I used this gym bag as my carry on with my Fanny pack as my personal and no above head carry on, and it was AWESOME!!!!!! Effortless!! Last year went to Vegas and took a large duffle, a carry on suitcase and also my check in luggage and it was so miserable lugging it all over the place… never again. This time just the check in luggage and my gym backpack and my Fanny pack. Best experience ever.I was going to buy something like WolfPac but I really wanted the separate shoe compartment! So happy with my purchase. I’m sure WOLFpac is much higher quality build materials than this little guy but I don’t care. I don’t need the patches or that my size for the gym, unless it’s leg day maybe. But even then, I’ll just carry my belt 1 day a week, it’s fine. So if high quality is your main priority, then this little backpack is OKAY for that (it’s not low quality by any means), but it’s definitely not going to be high end quality like WOLFpac obviously. But again, it’s not cheaply made like others I have seen from other similar brands. This one has smooth zippers, and very comfortable straps. Haven’t had any issues with that.Buy it, you won’t regret it. Even as a travel carry on, you’ll be happy.

Perfect backpack!!
I can’t say enough good things about this bag. I started biking recently and needed something with enough compartments to hold all of my stuff. It looks small, but it is HUGE in the side. The shoe storage is an absolute game changer. I can fit clothes, lunch, tennis shoes, and some notebooks in here + water bottle and bike lock just fine. And for the price?? Its a steal of a deal.The quality is great and its adjustable so easy to wear. I will warn that the laptop case compartment isnt actually big enough to fit a laptop, but you can fit it in the actual bag portion if you try hard enough. Very lightweight and stylish. I love it!

Looks great and lots of storage
Bought this because I am starting to run a lot and need a bag to carry some work stuff and extra shoes. Compartment at bottom of backpack for shoes is perfect! Holds my MacBook, change of clothes and work notebooks. Good pockets inside and out. Durable. Highly recommend.
