Awful Awful Awful.
The first thing to note is the shake’s consistency and flavor. It was thick to the point of being unpalatable, making it difficult to consume. But more concerning were the undertones in the flavor profile. While it’s hard to pinpoint exactly, there was an underlying taste that was distinctly off-putting â something that didn’t align with the expected chocolate richness. Instead, it left a lingering, unpleasant aftertaste that I struggled to ignore.Beyond the taste, a deeper look into the ingredient list raised some flags. While I am not a nutritionist, some of the included elements seemed to have a history of controversy in terms of their health impacts. Without concrete evidence or professional guidance, I hesitate to label them as outright dangerous, but the presence of these questionable components does merit a cautious approach. My personal experience with this shake was less than satisfactory. Apart from the taste issue, I found myself questioning the actual health benefits versus potential risks of some ingredients. It’s important to note that these reactions are highly subjective and individual, but they were significant enough for me to reconsider continuing its use.The chocolate flavor was a disappointment. Its thick texture and the mysterious, unpleasant undertones in its taste made it a challenge to enjoy. Coupled with concerns about certain ingredients, I find myself reluctant to recommend this product. For those looking for a nutritious shake, my advice would be to explore other options in the market, ones that offer transparency in ingredients and a more agreeable taste experience.

Be careful as they do not reveal how they are sweetening this product.
Be Careful. This product is not for everyone, especially if you have any gastrointestinal sensitivity to sugar alcohols, artificial sweeteners and other products that disguise behind monk fruit. My husband called customer service to inquire how they were sweetening this product, but did not get a clear response. Everytime we mixed this product with water, or oat milk, cashew milk, coconut milk my husband ended up having severe upper GI symptoms including excessive belching. The symptoms he presented resembled when he used sugar alcohols, specifically Erythritol. Again, this product might be for a lot of people that can tolerate artificial sweeteners, but if you can’t you will end up having GERD-like symptoms.

Best out there! Smoooth â¦
Over the last few months Iâve tried a few different âmeal replacementâ shakes. For fair comparison, Iâve used the same blender, added the same extras (see my little list below) and the same amount of ice and milk.KaâChava is BY FAR the tastiest and smoothest Iâve tried. Almost like a gourmet chocolate milkshake. That said, the whole purpose of these things (for me) is to do better with my nutrition and curb my appetite.Consider the add-ins below â Iâm not a physician or dietician, and some of these can add a bunch of calories (so watch the amounts), but after doing a bunch of research as to what others are adding to their meal replacement smoothies, Iâve settled on these:Fresh (not frozen) organic Banana, organic unsweetened peanut butter powder, cinnamon powder, walnuts, organic beet root powder, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, cacao powder, *wee* pinch of cayenne pepper powder, organic raw honey, frozen blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries, 15 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and finally – about 20 oz of ice cubes (if you add more ice = thicker).I blend about 4 times for maximum creaminess ⦠first with just the milk and KaâChava plus beet root powder. Then, as that first mix is settling in and absorbing I add everything else *except* the ice – now blend a second time. Now I add the ice cubes. I blend the third time on the Ice Crush setting, and finally a 4th blend on the Smoothie setting. I gotta tell you what I get (with any product Iâve tried) is a silky-smooth and creamy shake. The difference Iâve found is KaâChava is a good bit smoother, creamier, and tastier than the others. Hands down my favorite, and so I put it on an Amazon subscription. Finally, the price. Heck yes, itâs quite expensive, but there are two tricks to get around that: first, you donât have to have it every day. Next, and this really works – instead of two âheapingâ scoops as recommended, just put one! Yes, youâre not getting the full nutrient density with every shake, but with the add-ins I mentioned plus any others you may decide upon, you ARE getting a decent shot of nutrition you might not otherwise get, and your appetite is curbed. And, psst ⦠donât tell anyone but the taste is still awesome with just one scoop!Oh, I do recommend looking up how to open the bag correctly. I didnât and ruined the seal ⦠so, I have to roll up the top, put a clip on it and store the bag in the fridge. Small price to pay.To your health! ðð

It’s good
Have been feeling meh so I’ve been doing a reset using this product. It tastes just fine blended with water, but I prefer using 20oz H2O and 12oz of milk. And ice.I add: collogen, MCT, CocoaVia Cardio Health Cocoa, powdered colostrum, and a packet of Supergut GLP-1 Booster. Sometimes I’ll throw in other stuff depending on my mood/needs. I go with the flow.Makes two large servings which are my main meals. I eat a solid keto meal for lunch. Some bone broth, celery, or apples if I need a snack. The taste is creamy, keeps me full and gives me energy. Sometimes I only use one scoop and throw in a scoop of whey or some other protein powder in my pantry. My brain fog lifts whenever I drink this. Great in the morning especially.I’m slowly coming out of whatever funk I was experiencing. My sleep is much better. Mood is balanced & upbeat. I have more sustained energy in the gym. Skin looks clearer, joints moving well. Not sure what all the complaints in the reviews are about. It’s a nutritionally dense product that is expensive. If you mix it in a blender, it’s smooth and creamy. If it’s too thin for your taste use a milk. The “controversy” about this stuff cracks me up. It’s a protein shake. Drink it (or don’t.) No need to stress out or overthink it.I’ll continue to purchase, works for me.
