    Thought-provoking but wonky edit job.
The content is insightful and thought provoking. I’ve been able to pull alot of the ideas and use in different ways with the teens at our ministry, a marriage workshop my husband and I are hosting and in personal life! The repetitiveness and actual font/text/spacing is very wonky and hard to ignore…causing a slower reading experience than I’m used to, because of focusing on that and having to reread sections to get my brain back on track. Not a good mix for someone with ADD and OCD!Single. Double, Triple. Quadruple spacing randomly and ALL throughout the book with no rhyme or reason?I actually read the last chapter to see if he mentions this as a tactic he was using to tie up the book in a bow at the end.Spoiler alert.Nope!

    Great concept but repetitive
I think the concept is great and has some good tools but I felt like I was reading a paper someone wrote trying to meet a word count. Very repetitive and rewording the sentences to make more lines on the page.

Teaches uThe positive effect of not getting the best
Excellent resource for overcoming the obstacles of “less than “ as a positive result of not achieving your anticipated outcomes. Offers constructive advice to understand how to learn and grow instead of gravitating towards negative talk. Teaches to build confidence and character and strategies that can help you attain your best self.

Don’t bother. Repetitive childish anecdotes that don’t say much for example ‘imagine Samantha is in a car and someone cuts across her. She could say ‘what an idiot they don’t know how to drive’ but with mindfulness she would say ‘that person isn’t great at driving at that’s made me annoyed’ but she should be aware of her feelings’.A load of nonsense, save your money and don’t buy this

This book brings different useful concepts together however, the fact that is self-published means that no editor’s eyes reviewed the book before it went to print. That translates into numerous instances where the same sentences are repeated throughout sections. This makes the reader feels as if they are reading in a loop and that the essence of the concepts the sections convey is lost. The book would benefit to be stripped from these sentences loops which would enhance its conciseness.

I enjoyed the first 3 chapters especially the rest I felt a little reworded concepts, but overall a good book to read, lots of notes to take to remember in various difficult situations. I have given a 5 star for many new concepts I learnt through this book, dichotomy of control, Eisenhower matrix, detachment, etc.
