On the Firm Side
This isnât the firmest foam roller Iâve ever felt, but it is on the firm side in my opinion. I do have a half circle foam roller that is even firmer than this one and I have to say, I find this one to be more comfortable to lay on when doing my exercises on days when my back is especially tender. Itâs a good length for someone to lay on. And it offers decent back support when you do.The surface seems to be made of a material that I wonder about. Iâm not sure how durable it will be long-term. Thereâs already a small dent in it just from having it shipped to me. It doesnât affect the functionality of the roller, but it is there and I do wonder if more dents might appear over time and use.Overall, Iâm very satisfied with it. The weight of it is good and I thought it was a decent price. Iâm hoping that as long as I donât throw it around it gently it will last me a long time.

Great for back release
I bought this at the recommendation of a yoga instructor whom mentioned it after noticing I tend to keep tension in my mid to upper back. After a couple good rolls with a foam roller at the studio, I decided I needed one at home. This provides such a good release for the areas I hold tension. I will say this is best on hard surfaces but it could just be my carpet/pad provides too much give to allow it to work.
