Comfortable, Secure Weighted Vest That Adds Real Challenge to Workouts
This ZELUS weighted vest is well-balanced, comfortable, and stays put no matter what youâre doing. The weight is distributed evenly, so it doesnât bounce around during runs, hikes, or strength training. The material feels durable, and the reflective stripe is a smart touch for early-morning or evening workouts. It adds just the right amount of intensity without feeling bulky, and the fit is snug without restricting movement. Whether youâre training for strength, conditioning, or weight loss, it delivers a noticeable boost in effort.A solid, reliable vest that makes every workout more effective.

Vest is perfect, phone pouch is not.
The weighted vest itself is awesome. It does have a strong odor when you first get it, but I am sure it’ll air out (just like any memory foam pillow/mattress).It’s very comfortable and sits at the upper portion of the torso. Pretty straightforward to put on, secure, and adjust. My ONLY gripe is the included phone carrier. Pictures make it looks much larger than it is, as it does not fit my Galaxy 24 Ultra (doubt it’d fit any Pro Max iphone). If you have a smaller phone it’ll prob be no issue, but I specifically chose this one to use the phone pouch, but it’s too small unfortunately. I’ll still use it and can probably still use the pouch for my phone, but I wouldn’t be able to zip it up.Regardless, if you’re just looking for the vest, it’s comfortable and sure beats having the adjustable ones with bulky metal plates that make it feel extra stiff.

âï¸ 16 lb Weighted Vest Review
I’ve been really happy with this 16 lb weighted vest. Itâs comfortable to wear, even during longer workouts, and the weight is evenly distributed, which makes a big differenceâno awkward shifting or pressure points. The fit stays secure without restricting movement.Another huge plus is the front pocket, which is large enough to hold an iPhone Pro Max. Itâs convenient for music, timers, or tracking workouts without needing an extra armband or belt.Overall, itâs a solid, well-designed vest that adds challenge without discomfort. Highly recommended for walking, running, or bodyweight training.

Good quality, has a chemical smell
We opted for the 20-lb vest for hiking and treadmill / outdoor walking. Everyone is the family uses it at least for treadmill walks (our 10-year old likes it a lot for treadmill walking).WeightSurprisingly the vest weighs in at exactly 20 lbs on our home scale. By comparison, a 30-lb kettlebell weighs 30.6. So either the 20-lb vest is .4 under, or the kettlebell is .6 too heavy and the vest is perfectly 20 lbs.Fit & UsesNot flashy or loud, this vest is unassuming and seems to focus on getting the job done. We wish there was a second strap that connected the lower portion of the vest. There is only a strap that clips across the upper chest. When running, the lower area moves around a lot more than desired. It’s not very good for making certain exercises more challenging, like yoga or rock climbing. Because it has just the one strap along the top, the entire vest moves a lot if you are inverted or just about any position other than upright. If wearing it during weight lifting or body weight exercises like push-ups, the bulk of the vest can get in the way because the weight is packed into, and distributed, under the arm pits and sides on the vest. This is great for more balance when upright just walking or some low intensity running, but it means your arms constantly rub against these parts of the vest.SmellOut of the box, there is a noticeable chemical or oil/gasoline like smell. My wife smelled it strongly. I smelled it mildly, but it’s definitely there. Some say that it will go away after a “little while”. Not sure how long that really is, because nearly 2 months later, there is still the same smell. The vest was even accidentally left out in 2 days of rain. After drying it on low (using a shoe rack in the dryer), the smell persist. A bit less now, by it has not gone completely away. Some people how are more sensitive to this type of scent may find the vest too difficult to wear. I’m able to ignore it and use the vest, as the smell is not so strong for me.ExerciseI mostly use it for speed walking on the treadmill with 3% incline. Getting the vest was intended to help me reach higher heart rates without having to run or use very high inclines (ankle injury). Previously, I could reach an average HR of about 115 bpm. With the vest on, and the treadmill at the same settings, my HR averages about 125. So a decent improvement without forcing a higher incline or speed that would cause my ankle injury to be more painful. I should have probably gone with a 25-lbs vest.

Great fit and solid construction
Iâve been training with the ZELUS Weighted Vest for a few weeks now, and Iâm genuinely impressed with the overall build quality and comfort. I chose the 12 lb version because I weigh 110 lbs, but I like that it comes in multiple weight options so you can start lighter and progress over time. What I love:Comfortable, secure fit. The vest hugs the body well without shifting around, even during runs or cardio workouts. The adjustable straps make it easy to adjust for the right fit.Even weight distribution. The weight is balanced front and back, which really helps avoid strain on the shoulders or lower back.Reflective safety strip. I don’t run outdoors, but if you run early in the morning and at dusk outdoors , this small detail is surprisingly useful.Durable materials. The stitching and fabric feel strong. No leaking weight packets or frayed seams so far.Performance Results: This vest adds just the right level of resistance to push workouts to the next levelâbodyweight squats, push-ups, stair runs, and even just walking feel more challenging in a good way. Iâve noticed improved stamina and muscle engagement, especially in my core and legs.Comfort Note: There is some shoulder pressure when wearing it for a long period, but thatâs expected with any weighted vest. A quick adjustment or slight break usually solves it.Bottom Line:If you’re looking to intensify workouts, improve endurance, or add resistance without complicated equipment, the ZELUS Weighted Vest is a great investment. Solid quality, comfortable fit, and well worth the price.

I wanted a weighted vest to help me keep calm and focus. The market for adult vests is quite niche. I ordered the 4lb vest because I wanted to keep the impact on my shoulders less. It feels like wearing a backpack with a few books in it.I am a smaller person so the front clip was a good fit, but for larger chest sizes the vest strap my not fit. The extra phone strap thing is cool. The zippers clink together and make noise, so I covered on in tape.Would not recommend using while jumping.

I started running and working out with this forgot Iâd have it on until I felt the extra burn. Only issue I have is when you use it next to skin you get a bunch of black residue on your body. also could be a bit heavier but you get what you pay for.

Arrived quickly. The vest came packaged nicely, and it is definitely well made. Has a slight odour, but nothing major. Wore it for a walk, itâs is very comfortable and sits nicely. Comes with a phone holder that can be used on the vest or your arm. 10/10 recommend!
