Comfortable hand weights
I like these vinyl coated weights! I prefer the smooth texture over the rough texture of other hand weights. They arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

Body-Solid Tools Vinyl Dumbbell for Aerobic Training & Physical Therapy, Hand Weights
This weight is very nice to grasp and feels comfortable in my hand. I use it to do my hand/wrist therapy. I think it is a good price too.

Great for PT and strengthening
After using similar weights in physical therapy for my shoulders, I bought a set of these–pairs of 1, 2, 3 and 4 lb weights. They are comfortable to grip and it is nice to select the appropriate weight for the exercise. They have stood up to years of use, although I am using them less often now. I also have a set of neoprene dumbbells, 1-3 lbs, and slightly prefer the grip of the neoprene, although the vinyl is quite comfortable. One of 3 lb weights arrived with a defect on the handle, a small bump that I felt while gripping. Amazon’s customer service was great and allowed me to exchange it. The new one arrived with a similar defect. Minus one star for inconsistent quality, but otherwise a good purchase.

Great for Zumba
I was looking for alternative (less expensive) weights to use while I did zumba at home with decent shipping prices and thank you Amazon Prime! These came in great quality, they are easy to hold onto during my zumba’ing, I don’t have any issues with the smell or the texture as others have had, and they do the job they’re designed to do! I definitely felt my arms were more toned and had increased in their strength after a few weeks of adding these to my routine! Simply amazing value!

Very good quality but!
I had one of the old Body Solid 15lb dumbells and it was a little bit lighter gray and the shape isn’t exactly the same so if you’re ordering this to do butterfly bench presses I would order them in pairs. Still great quality though.

Perfect for light weights
These are great for daily arm workouts, very lightweight, i like that they are 4 lbs & i use them while i’m on exercise bike or to do an 8-10min exercise where i don’t let my arms down for the full 8-10min.To use a heavier weight for that type of exercise would be brutal. My arms a very toned now which i prefer to adding bulk. I don’t like using heavy weights since I’m just wanting to tone the arms.I follow a few Youtube videos & they are great, they recommend 2 lb but with the 4 lb ones I can do just one workout instead of repeating.
