    Mini Knife
I bought this knife as a gift for my dad, and he absolutely loved it! It came in a nice case and even included a small cleaning towel, which was a great touch. The knife itself feels solid and well-balanced, with a sharp blade that looks like it will hold up well over time. My dad’s already used it several times and keeps talking about how impressed he is with the quality. Definitely worth the purchase. I will be purchasing more for other family members at Christmas.

  2. Not my real name guy

4.5/5 Stars: Excellent quality small EDC knife
An all-around excellent daily carry drop point flipper knife, that I just wish was a touch bigger.DESCRIPTION:The folded length is 3.75”/9.5cm, the open length is 6.75”/17.3cm and the blade length is a hair under 3”/7.3cm, of which 2.5”/6.4cm is the cutting edge, and there is a choil/finger groove. It is about 3/8”/0.9cm wide. The handle is a nicely checkered olive G10 and all metal is black. It has a pocket clip on one side only, but I do not use it, although it appears fairly sturdy.PROS:- Extremely well-made, better than a Chinese Boker or lower-end American-made Kershaw and Buck knives I own. Fit and finish is excellent, with no movement or wiggle in the blade and it is centered both opened and closed.- Extremely smooth opening, The press of my index finger on the flipper protruding slightly from the back of the handle, snaps the blade open quickly and smoothly, without the need for any wrist flick.- is a very handsome knife, aesthetically, pleasing in shape and design, and not something that would appear “dangerous” to non-knife people.- it is small and light enough that I typically do not notices it in the bottom of my front jeans pocket, but is sturdy enough for any reasonable use one might have for a smaller daily carry knife..- Last but not least, the knife came very sharp, arm hair shaving sharp out of the box and has remained that way the several weeks I’ve been carrying it. I expect the D2 steel will hold an edge reasonably well, as it seems it has, and will sharpen decently.CONS:- The handle is slightly too small. I have pretty average size hands, typically wearing a men’s size large glove, and I find the handle a touch shorter than I would like unless I dangle my index finger onto the choil/finger cut out on the blade. If the handle was an extra quarter inch longer, this knife would be just about perfect. This is the reason I took off half a star in my rating. While I usually am not a fan of people lowering their ratings of a product because of a factor that was plain in the product description that they should’ve read before buying, in this case, I think a fair number of other men will have a similar opinion on how this knife fits their hands. Too bad Civivi doesn’t make a slightly larger medium size Praxis, as the full-size one looks to be a bit larger than I would like for daily carry.CONCLUSION:Despite the fact that the handle on this knife is a bit short for any prolonged or rougher use, I like it so much that it has been what I have been carrying most days since I bought it. It is an outstanding value for the $26, I paid for it. There are a number of fairly-highly rated Chinese knife brands out there that sell some slightly cheaper, pretty well regarded knives with similar specs, with G10 handles and D2 blades (allegedly), but I can’t imagine their quality level would be as high as this little Civivi.I absolutely do not “need” any more knives than the dozen or so I own, and I simply cannot justify complaining about my wife’s shoe collection, which is arguably more purposeful than a number of the additions to my knife collection. However, if I do find myself feeling lacking in willpower, I suspect the next knife I acquire will likely be another Civivi, probably a Damascus blade Elementum.

    happy with this purchase
I got knife for my son, and it’s been perfect. The size is just right for everyday carry—small and easy to handle, yet still functional. The D2 steel blade is sharp and durable, holding an edge really well even after regular use.The G10 handle feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand, and the pocket clip makes it easy to carry around safely. It’s a solid little knife for camping, hiking, or just general outdoor use. Overall, the build quality is excellent, and it feels like a premium knife for the price. My son loves it, and I’m really happy with this purchase.

    Solid knife for the price
Good edge retention and very sturdy for most basic chores around the house. A pretty good EDC for those who do t want to concern themselves with losing a more expensive knife. I got a few of them to keep in the truck, tractor and other places around my farm

Great purchase, fantastic value so far
Great knife. Light, ergonomic, good grip texture, easy to clean, stays closed and open. The size is pretty ideal for me, take note of the dimensions. No complaints, I use it daily for farm work and it cuts well. Will update this if needed.

Quality small and durable edc knife!
Tldr; very sharp and durable. Great value. Handle is ideal for small or medium hands, not for large hands. Pocket clip not reversible. Well made, nicely packaged, quality knife.Came very sharp and in very nice packaging. The case and cleaning cloth are a nice touch. Has barely left my side in the 3 weeks I’ve had it. Blade is durable and has not noticeably dulled after cutting some cardboard. The handle is a bit small but fits well in my hand (I’m a woman but my hands are on the larger side for a woman). I would not recommend this knife for someone with large hands, however if you’re a woman or a guy with medium sized hands then this might work great for you. The design and construction is very thoughtfully engineered and constructed. The pocket clip appears to be the same style as on most civivi knives. It’s deep carry and stays put, but doesn’t make removing the knife from my pocket difficult. Only downside is the pocket clip is not reversible so you’re stuck with mostly front-right or back-left pocket carrying (if you’re someone worrying about the safety of having the blade snug against the seam of your pocket). But since it’s a flipper then I suppose it can still be a lefty if you’re ok with it being carried in your left back pocket. Personally I wish the clip was reversible so I could carry it in my back right, but oh well. The pocket clip isn’t a deal breaker to me as long as it’s safe and secure.Honestly I don’t have many bad things to say about this knife. It’s a nicely designed d2 blade built well and backed up by a warranty. Personally I like the g10 handles because it’s less weight in my pocket, but if you’re someone who doesn’t like g10, then go for something else. Plus I love the color. Looks great with the black coated blade. If you want a moderately small and lightweight, but well made edc blade, this is a great option. Definitely worth $30. For this price range you often don’t find metals harder than 8cr13, so this is definitely a step up from a lot of other knives in the price-range. It’s completely replaced my kershaw shuffle and I don’t think I’m gonna go back (cause with 8cr13 I end up having to sharpen it weekly. D2 seems to hold an edge much better).
