So excited for my son to start using this Bible. We had the storybook for younger kids. The stories are well illustrated. This Bible is the full Bible, and like the adult version, has an intro to each book including the timeline and key people. There are footnotes included as well, which will provide explanations for our children to further explore. Highly recommend!

I purchased this Bible for my 10-year-old grandson who’s been asking for one of his own. I’d say if you have a child from 10 to 14 depending on their maturity level this would be a great Bible for them.

Good learning Bible
This Bible edition is nicely made and helpful for studying the scriptures. I am enjoying reading through it right now, although when my kids are a little older I hope that they also can read it (oldest is just turned 6 and not reading well enough for this yet).It has an introduction to each book of the Bible that lays out a timeline, who wrote it, and a summary of what it is about. It also introduces some of the people that are in the book.There are a number of pages throughout that have ‘Digging Deeper’ teaching moments, in addition to a lot of footnotes and little boxes explaining different things. Instead of having little numbers throughout the text to link to the footnotes, they simply made the words in the text red, and the same word is red at the start at each footnote. I am finding the notes to be extremely helpful.The text is very crisp and clear and the font is a nice size for reading. The font size is smaller in the introduction, added info boxes, and footnotes, but I can still read it without any issues. The paper is bright white and has a very smooth feel to it. Although the pages are still somewhat thin, as is typical of Bibles, I am impressed with the high quality. The binding seems well done, with the book having a fabric cover underneath the dust jacket. There is also a single ribbon bookmark attached to the spine.There are a number of full-color image pages throughout as well. The images are highly stylized and I don’t see anything in particular wrong with them, but they aren’t really my style either. I would be fine if those were taken out, but can also just pass over them. My kids think they are interesting to look at. They fit in well with the other materials from the Biggest Story materials, some of which I also have.

Excellent Quality & Perfect for Older Kids!
Although I saw the stock photos, I still wasnât sure what to expect when I ordered this childrenâs Bible. But once it arrived, it completely blew me away! The material is excellent, and the pages themselves feel just like a real Bible. Because of that, Iâd say this is definitely better suited for older children rather than infants or toddlers.There is a lot of writing, much more than I expected since itâs marketed as a childrenâs Bible. I assumed it would be mostly pictures, but instead the pages are filled with words. Thatâs not a bad thing at all, but again, it makes it ideal for kids who can sit and listen or read along.Donât get me wrong, there ARE pictures! Some are full-page and some are smaller, and theyâre beautiful. Our whole range of kiddos (infants, toddlers, little kids, and bigger kids) enjoy it in different ways. The little ones love flipping to the pictures, while the older ones really like listening to the stories. The wording is contemporary too, which makes it easy for them to understand.Overall, this is a great buy at an excellent price. If youâre considering it, donât hesitate, youâll be impressed!
