A small book but a true gem!
Max Lucadoâs âGod Will Use This for Goodâ is an excellent book that I highly recommend. Itâs only 47 pages but the words carry a very strong message for those of us who feel helplessness in our lives. I purchased it because itâs a feeling I have. This book has reminded me time & time again, as I remember what Iâve read or I reread it. Itâs an easy read. The book begins with a prayer which I included pictures of. There are 4 short chapters that follow, a response page & finally with uplifting scriptures. The focus of the book is on Joseph, the Son of Jacob. His story is told in the Bible. His Father adored him above his Brothers which in turn made his Brothers hate him. They hated him so much they threw him in a pit they were certain he would die in. Mr. Lucado writes this book with the focus on strength Joseph had to endure 20 years in this pit, as written in the Bible. At the age of 37 he became much more than a 17yo boy thrown in a bottomless pit. Why? He believed. This story is reflected onto us who face dark days. Mr. Lucado writes that God will get us THROUGH these times. THROUGH is a common word in many scriptures. Itâs further written that âYouâll get through this. It wonât be painless. It wonât be quick. But God will use this mess for good. In the meantime donât be foolish or naive. But donât despair either. With Godâs help you will get through this.â The big question is asked do you trust God? If you do Mr. Lucado makes it as easy as A-B-C. âAdmit your wrongdoing. Believe that Jesus is who he says he is. Commit your life to his cause.â The response page allows you to reflect a prayer & to sign off. Itâs a wonderful ending to a book that carries a powerful message. I feel that message is that God will get me THROUGH my difficult times & I truly believe this because Iâm a child of Jesus, the Son of God. I have certain pages highlighted which I flip to easily. If Iâm in true need I read the entire book. I canât write enough on how much this has benefited me at the cost of under $5.00. I feel if you can relate to anything Iâve written, you will greatly benefit from this book.

The most life changing book Iâve ever read
This tiny book really packs a punch. I bought it when I hit a breaking point in my life. I was broken and scared and I didnât know where to turn or what to do. I knew I needed God and this book truly saved me. Thereâs not a day that goes by now that I donât think of the message of this book. Itâs wired into my brain now and every single day I remember that God will use every moment in my life for good. I passed the book along to my dad for him to read because I think this is a book that everyone should read at least once, and the book proved its message to me last night when one of my dads friends told me that my dad had brought the book to his Bible study one night and shared it with the group. My dads friend then went on to buy this book in bulk to send to his friends and now this book has reached people all over the country. My brokenness and my pain lead to this book, which lead to its message being shared around the country. Whether you believe in God or not, the message of this book will always remain true. Your pain and hardships will be used for something good. It may take a day or it may take 10 years, but never forget that itâs never for nothing. I highly recommend this book. It takes 30 minutes to read but itâs message will stick for a lifetime.
