finally, a great yoga bag!
I’ve been searching for the perfect bag for yoga for many years, and this is the closest I’ve found.I bought the medium size, and I can stack two standard yoga blocks on top of each other in the zipper compartment and also get my strap and microfiber towel in there with a little bit of extra room. It’s a snug fit to zip over the stacked blocks, but not annoyingly so. I would not be able to fit in a bigger/thicker towel or rug, though. If I were ordering again, I might consider the larger size so I could put my blocks side by side instead of having to stack them and maybe use a thicker towel. If you use only one block, the medium would be perfectly fine for you and the large might be overkill.NB: The shoe pocket takes space from the interior of the bag, so if you use that, you’ll fit less in the main compartment.There is no separate water bottle sleeve, but all of the exterior pockets will hold a water bottle easily. It’s a little difficult to get into the pockets once you have your mat strapped on top, but I’m just using this for to and from yoga class, so that doesn’t matter to me.The elastic that holds the mat on does seem a little chintzy, and if you have a thick mat, you’re going to have to roll it pretty tight to fit, but otherwise this seems to be well constructed. I’m handy enough with a needle that if that goes bad, I can figure out how to replace it. I like the fabric a lot, and it seems like it will stand up to some use. Because it is synthetic, my blocks go in and out easily.What I really love about this is how the mat sits on top without throwing the straps out of balance or making the bag flop over.The only improvements I would suggest would be adding a water bottle compartment on the end and a key leash. I hate having to fish for my keys.

Great gym bag, but I am not convinced on carrying my mat this way
The bag is really durable and the color is awesome. It has so many pockets, sometimes I forget what I put where but it is functional and practical, especially is you have wet stuff from the pool. I take it around not only to the gym but just around town.I tried carrying my mat on top but don’t love how it feels, instead I am using the carrier strap for my mat

Get The Larger Size
I purchased the large size bag (18.75” x 10.25” x 8”).You can easily put size 8.5 tennis shoes in the shoe pocket, and still have plenty of room in the main pocket.I have filled the main pocket with: a hand towel, socks, underwear/cotton bra, yoga pants, t-shirt, keys, wallet, hair-ties, Chapstick, iPhone, and had my shoes in the shoe/side pocket, and everything fit comfortably inside. (I need to try to fit travel size body wash, a body towel and a hair brush inside as well, that will be the true size test…)With my bag stuffed, I then put my Liforme Yoga Mat through the straps. The stretchy locking clasp fits around the mat without overly stretching BUT is a tight fit still. The straps are long enough, that even with the Liforme Yoga Mat secured into place, I have room to slide my arm and elbow in and out easily.This bag has been tossed in and out of the car, and crumbled into yoga studio cubbies. There have been no issues with tearing, pulling, loose threads, or diminishing quality. The straps easily hold up to the weight that the bag endures. The straps are also comfortable on my shoulder as I am carrying the bag around.The Zippers are all good quality and glide easily up and down; they don’t snag or buckle.I highly recommend.

Pleasantly Surprised!!
I had low expectations since the reviews were so mixed but this bag exceeded all my expectations. I got the medium bag and I was able to fit sneakers, sandals, swimsuit, gym cloths, change of cloths, water bottle, shower stuff, hair stuff, makeup stuff, yoga mat and still had room left over for maybe another change of cloths or 2 if I really wanted to stuff it to capacity or I could fit about pair of shoes in the shoe compartment since my feet are so small. I love that there are so many spacious compartments that everything has it’s own organized place. The wet compartment is a nice feature. Overall, this is a very thoughtful, well designed and well executed bag that more than meets my gym needs. I am small 4’11 and size 5.5 shoes so my things don’t take up much space, if you are a bigger build I could see why some people say this bag is too small. The shoe compartment does take up space inside the bag. If you have big feet or your cloths take up a lot of room, I suggest trying the large.

it’s deceptively compact, but i’ve managed to fit 2 yoga blocks, a toiletries bag, small towel, a change of clothes AND my laptop in comfortably – plus all my daily essentials! one small caveat is that once you put a pair of shoes in, it eats into the interior space. i like that i only need one bag for both work and after-work yoga.
