Honesty, while vulnerable and scary, is a form of intimacy with yourself–and with God. It requires a special kind of courage, and ultimately, it holds a special kind of transformative power. And while vulnerability with God can be a humbling thing, it is also a deeply healing thing.
It all starts with telling yourself the truth.
Through daring questions, provocative prompts, and creative illustrations, this journal will become a personal place to share your deepest feelings, fears, hopes, and dreams. It’s a place to record all the stuff you’d only tell God: ideas, beliefs, memories, wonderings, and preferences that might seem outlandish or outrageous to someone else–but they’re the things and places and people that make you who you are. This journal will give you the space, the courage, and the help you need to discover the person God created you to be.
Are you ready to release your heart into the hands of the Father? Your yes might be the bravest yes you’ll ever give.

I haven’t felt this close to god in years
A Beautiful, Honest Journal That Feels Like a Safe Place for Your SoulStuff I’d Only Tell God is one of the most refreshing and meaningful guided journals I’ve ever used. Jennifer Dukes Lee has created something that feels equal parts comforting, challenging, and deeply personal. This isn’t just a journal—it’s an invitation to slow down, get honest, and explore the parts of yourself you normally keep tucked away. The prompts are thoughtful and incredibly varied—some light and fun, some surprisingly deep, and some that made me pause and really reflect. I love how the journal balances humor, vulnerability, faith, and self-discovery without ever feeling heavy or overwhelming. No matter what season of life you’re in, the questions feel relevant and gently push you toward clarity and growth. What makes this journal stand out is how safe and judgment-free it feels. It’s designed for anyone—women, men, teens—who wants to explore their inner world with courage and honesty. Whether you’re new to journaling or already fill notebooks, this book gives you structure without boxing you in.If you’re looking for a guided journal that inspires real introspection while still feeling welcoming and even fun, this is an absolute gem. I’ve already bought extra copies as gifts.

So Much More Than a Journal!!!
Journaling is hard, especially when you can’t find the words. That’s why Stuff I’d Only Tell God is a game-changer! It’s fun, real, raw, encouraging, engaging, and unique. You’ll uncover things about yourself you’ve forgotten or might never have considered before. Each page is an adventure and an opportunity to unpack memories, milestones, and so much more! Plus, you learn cool stuff. It’s a discovery of the heart through a journey of past, present, and future. God’s grace, prayer prompts, and purpose can be found on these pages. This guided journal makes an amazing gift! Especially for those friends and family who are tough to buy for, because I guarantee they’ve never received a gift like this one. Plus, I’m pretty sure Jesus is smiling about it. Highly recommend!

A great way to get deeper!
This is a really good journal prompt style book. It’s got some hard stuff. It’s got some fun silly stuff. But all together it’s been a really good journey to work through!

    THIS journal is a life-changer!!! ✨HIGHLY RECOMMEND✨
Jennifer Dukes Lee has an uncanny way of writing exactly what we need to hear, as if she literally knows each person who will read her words. And now she’s offering YOU the same gift—the gift of knowing yourself.Stuff I’d Only Tell God is an invitation to soul-baring honesty that will change the way you understand yourself. Relate to God. Open up and be vulnerable with others. As one who defaults to stuffing down the real and pretending to be okay even when I’m not, I know how hard it is to unlearn these habits. Let your messy, in-progress story and the ways God’s not finished with you yet be visible. But I also know we settle for shallow relationships unless we’re willing to set a different trajectory. And Jennifer’s guided journal will help you do exactly that.Stuff I’d Only Tell God gets my very highest recommendation. But seriously, stop reading my words and go grab a copy for yourself (and a stack of them to gift to your favorite people!).

    Faith and self-awareness
“Stuff I’d Only Tell God” is a truly meaningful journal. I bought one for my husband, and he connected with it so deeply that we ended up buying several more. It’s now our go-to gift for his circle: thoughtful, personal, and perfect for reflection. Highly recommend for anyone looking to grow in faith and self-awareness.

Perfect gift for your college student!
Such a great idea to have a space to journal! The prompts are sincere, helpful & fun. I bought one for my son who’s a college freshman & then downloaded the cards from the author’s website. They fit in the book & allow you to write little notes. I’ll definitely be getting one for my daughter when she goes to school next year!
